A lawyer for Mattel Inc. says a jury has ruled that a designer conceived a competitor’s Bratz doll characters while working for Mattel.

The Missouri Supreme Court ruled Tuesday to suspend for three years a Clayton lawyer who admitted to stealing more than $175,000 of his clients’ money.
